The more I see of the Fall/Winter 2010 shows, particularly the ones from Milan, the more I become certain that the fashion industry glitterati have clandestine meetings after the season has been presented to decide what the trends for the next season will be, just so everyone else is on the same page. That, or it’s secretly just one supergenius (or supercomputer?) behind every major collection, and that’s why everything from Gucci to Fendi to Ferragamo bags this season has been so cohesive – not just within each collection, but across much of what has been shown at Fashion Week as a whole.

So, this is what we know: the 60s and 70s are being brought back, this time in a conservative and subdued way to match the mood of the culture. Classic shapes, particularly in accessories, are as classic as they’ve ever been. Brown is officially a thing, as is suede. The look of sueded croc is also gaining favor, after being embraced for the past few season by the bag designers at YSL.

Salvatore Ferragamo collection hit most of the high points of fall trendspotting, and the materials were lush and beautiful. A few of the shapes were too plain for me, but high points like asymmetrical croc clutches with tortoise shell closures made me forget all about them. That’s probably a good metaphor for how fall is shaping up, in fact – the key will be finding the bags that take tradition to the next level.

When I was three, the most fabulous gift my parents bought me was a battery operated Power Wheels pink Barbie Jeep, and boy was I grateful for that. As the years when by, I grew out of my “first vehicle” and no more attention it received. When your parents are Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, your lifestyle consists of pricey gifts and luxuries practically everyday.

Check out Little Miss Suri Cruise and the latest accessory to hit her toy box. The pintsize celebrity tot was photographed in daddy’s arms carrying a miniature sized Sofia bag by Salvatore Ferragamo Bags. Where does Suri get her fabulous style from? We’re pointing fingers at Fashionista momma Katie Holmes of course; just take a look at how she’s sporting the original Sofia satchel in arms as well.

Whether you agree or disagree on a three year old owning her very own $850 designer ferragamo purses, you simply can’t deny the fact that Suri Cruise is absolutely adorable and we might just be a little bit jealous.

Emily Blunt looks incredibly stunning and smart, which is opposed to her surname. Seriously, though we seldom see paparazzi shots of her, we can probably say that she dresses up well. You can prove it here as she hits the red carpet with her boyfriend John Krasinski at the 2010 Golden Globe Award Show.

She’s wearing a pink tulle and chiffon strapless gown by Dolce and Gabbana, which truly shapes her curvaceous body. She grounded it with Jimmy Choo Quinze Booties, making her look modern. She then finished her ensemble with a Salvatore Ferragamo Bags, which actually complements her sparkling cuff.

The minaudiere looks just apt for her ensemble as it made her exude a more modern look. It comes metallic in silvery shade and it is accented with stitching or what seems to be of some studs in vertical pattern.

Is it her or her stylist who put up her ensemble? I’m not sure either, but the important thing is that she looks amazing with such gown.

 

I literally just finished writing about Jennifer Aniston and the amazing all black outfit she wore while hanging with friends Ashton and Demi. Almost as soon as I finished that I looked through a few more images and came across the trio being photographed together at the 9th Annual Production of The 24 Hour Plays on Broadway.

Per usual, Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore looked fabulous and totally in love while working the media. At the same time, Jennifer Aniston continues to look flawless just as she did in the other images. Even with Ashton sporting a University of Illinois hat and a bit of scruff, he looks gorgeous. Demi per usual, shows off her rockin bod and Jen carries her Salvatore Ferragamo Knot Bag with grace.

So, which celeb in this amazing threesome caught your eye first?

 

Over the past few weeks it seems to me like we have been carrying more of Sarah Jessica Parker as Carrie Bradshaw rather than Sarah Jessica Parker herself. With all the filming of Sex and the City II there are so many pictures to share with you all, so I can’t help myself. However, I have to say, it is a bit of a breath of fresh air to see SJP as… herself.

In fact, I hear more about her and her new movie than updates about this new mom. Well, not new mom, but more like mom with new kids! Yet, I guess the people care more about her upcoming role than her new kids. In fact, that is probably better. No need to keep youngsters in the lime-light all the time.

Anyways, here, SJP is heading onto the set of Sex and the City II, but these pictures are taken before hair, make-up and wardrobe. So, we are actually looking at her as she walks onto the set, but it’s still her before the movie and I like it. I am totally digging SJP’s casual, cozy look. I love her knitted hat, UGG boots and Salvatore Ferragamo Bag in grey.
